She worked with the likes of Aaron "the Idol" Stevens, Beth Phoenix, and Paul Burchill until she went to ECW, where she managed Kevin "Thorn" Fertig under a vampiress gimmick. Martinez feuded with Francine Fournier and Barbie "Kelly Kelly" Blank before her release. In October 2007, TNA signed Martinez. In TNA, the Latina Spitfire managed LAX and feuded with Christy Hemme and Jackie Moore before she asked for her release to pursue an acting career. Shelly Martinez now acts in indie films and is the host of The Weed Chronicles.
